(RGADA). The communion hymn was composed by Ivan Protopopov especially for the Liturgy, which completed the rite of the coronation of Catherine I. It is a polyphonic adaptation of Znamenny chant. In the melody there is a characteristic shift of the scale a M2 downwards. As a result a very unusual tonal plan appears in the musical score. "When they began to sing the communion hymn, then the procession of Her Majesty from Tsar's doors to chrismation and communion was administered by the wards." The musical score of the Communion hymn and the “Many years” was compiled by Natalya Plotnikova.
