Track 15 (RGADA). The “Many years” from the coronation manuscript of I. Protopopov is a masterful treatment of the Demestvenny chant. After singing the psalm 101, "The Imperial Majesty laid the crown himself on Her Majesty ... Then the Protodeacon proclaimed “Many Years” to Their Majesties… and from the chanters a “Many Years” was sung. Protopopov conducted the choir Tsar's singers from 1723 to 1729.
